Fabiola Vindas was crowned Srta. Costa Rica 2024 on 2nd February 2024 as she became the official representative of Costa Rica at 72nd Miss World. She represented the province of Limón at the national contest.

Fabiola Vindas is 24 years of age and lives in Guápiles. Fabiola is a music lover and also a Clinical Chemical Laboratory student. Fabiola has a non-profit institute that helps and supports young people in psychiatry and the elderly who have been neglected.

Fabiola Vindas succeeds her predecessor Krisly Salas, the representative of Costa Rica at 71st Miss World. Krisly represented Costa Rica at 71st Miss World bur remained unplaced. Costa Rica is yet to pioneer its win at Miss World.

The 72nd edition of Miss World will be held later in the year or next year where 71st Miss World Krystyna Pyszková of the Czech Republic will crown her successor at the end of the event finale. The event will see the return of Albania, Belarus, Laos, Equatorial Guinea which have been announced as of now.
