Rafaela Plastira to represent Greece at Miss World 2019

At the coronation night of Star Hellas 2019 held on 16th October 2019 at Alhambra Theater, Rafaela Plastira was crowned the new queen as she took the decision to represent her country in Miss World 2019 this year.

The stunning beauty gave a stunning performance at the national contest. She bested 12 other contestants to win the national title. From Trikala, Rafaela is 20 years of age and has graduated from Dutch School {MAVO}, specializing in care and welfare. She speaks English, Dutch and German and in her spare time does Muay Thai and swimming.

Born and raised in the Netherlands, Rafaela‘s father lives in Trikala and she always wanted to go back to her homeland. She has studied social welfare at an early age, and now in Athens, she wants to get a second degree in journalism. However, her mother lives in Netherlands.

At the coronation night of Star Hellas 2019, Erika Kolani was crowned Miss Hellas 2019 along with her. Marianna Peratsaki won the Miss Tourism Greece 2019 crown while B Star Hellas 2019 was awarded to Ioanna Xantzi and B Miss Hellas 2019 was awarded to Natalia Papaeuthimiou.

The contestants who competed for Star Hellas 2019 were Anna Tzika, Elena Maris, Erika Kolani, Happiness Lionaki, Frida Theologou, Ioanna Hadzi, Katsomaliari Katerina,  Maria Mansouli, Marianna Peratsaki, Natalia Papaefthimiou, Rafael Kalomiri, Sarah Chechou.
