Morgane Thérésine was recently crowned Miss World Guadeloupe 2018 at Le Gosier and will now represent Guadeloupe at the Miss World 2018 pageant in Sanya, China. Morgane succeeds and was crowned by Miss World Guadeloupe 2017 Audrey Berville.

Morgane competed against 14 other contestants to win the title. Naturally optimistic and fond of chocolate, Morgane Thérésine loves athletics. She also loves dancing and music. Morgane is not new to the pageant world as she was also crowned Miss Guadeloupe 2016 and was the 3rd runner-up at Miss France 2017.

The official social media of Miss World Organization also shared the news with all its readers – “Morgane Theresine represents Guadeloupe! Theresine competed with 14 other contestants to be crowned Miss World Guadeloupe 2018! She will represent Guadeloupe at Miss World 2018 in Sanya, China!”

Morgane shared the news with her fans through her official social media, quoting, “Life gives us pleasant surprises. I am pleased to announce that I was selected to represent my island, Guadeloupe at the next miss world election 2018. And it is with great pleasure that I have accepted this challenge, because you know that this title of ambassador of Guadeloupe is for me above all the privileged instrument to highlight the wealth and heritage of Guadeloupe. And it is always with great pride that I pledge to promote on the international stage, the beauty of Guadeloupe and its islands.”

The representative of Guadeloupe is sent to Miss World through the Miss International Guadeloupe pageant. The runners-up of the pageant might, or might not represent Guadeloupe at the Miss International and Miss Earth pageants.

Guadeloupe is currently having a good run at the Miss World pageant with Miss World Guadeloupe 2017 Audrey Berville placing in the Top 30 at the pageant. However, the country is yet to pioneer its win, and Morgane might be just the right candidate for it.
