Miss World Hungary 2017 preliminary activities are in full swing, and with the contest progressing, the 20 finalists shortlisted have now been pruned to 16 who are set to compete at the finals. Primarily twenty contestants were selected, though after a sequence of preliminary events four were eliminated leaving a total of sixteen (16) finalists who will now compete for the crown of success on 18th June 2017. The selected 16 finalists will compete in the finals scheduled to be held on 18th June 2017. Tímea Gelencsér, Miss World Hungary 2016, will crown her successor at the finale who will go on to represent Hungary in Miss World 2017 to be held in China.
