Natalya Stroeva is a very interesting delegate who is competing for the title of Miss World 2018. The gorgeous finalist is the first Russian beauty queen of Asian heritage who is representing her nation in Miss World 2018.
Initially, Yulia Polyachikhina, who was crowned Miss Russia 2018 was to represent Russia in both Miss Universe 2018 as well as Miss World 2018, but later on, the plan was dropped to avoid scheduling conflicts. Larisa Tikhonova, who is the national director of Miss Russia, appointed Natalya as Miss World Russia 2018. She was awarded the position of 2nd runner-up during the finale of Miss Russia 2018.
Born in Yakutsk, Sakha Republic, Natalya is 19 years of age and stands tall at a height of 173 cm. She is currently a student at the Russian National Research Medical University and is bilingual with the ability to speak fluently in Russian and English languages. Natalya has dreams of becoming a cosmetologist, dermatologist or a plastic surgeon.
Natalya enjoys modelling and Russian folk dances. The sad fact about her life is that she was orphaned at the age of 12 and has been fending for her own since she became a teenager. What is interesting about her is that she is of Asian heritage. She was later on brought up by her brother and her aunt. Upon being appointed the national representative, she took to her social media and said, “I am the first Asian woman representing the great multinational country - Russia at Miss World 2018.”
Natalya is very invested in helping those who have been in a similar situation in life. She started her “The family for a child" foundation to provide for and help orphaned children. This is also her Beauty with a Purpose project for Miss World.
Natalya took to the official Facebook page of Miss World Russia Organization and said, “It is difficult to live on your own, especially when no one can help, advise, or suggest a solution. I understand this more than anyone else does since at the age of 12, I was left without parental care, and from 13 I began to manage my own personal budget. That is how I met and started working with the Mentoring Centre for supporting graduates of organizations for orphans and children left without parents.”
Even at such a young age, Natalya is a very focused and goal-oriented person. Added to that are her exotic looks as well as her fit and healthy body. She is definitely a strong contender, body and mind, therefore it won't be surprising if she makes it to the finale in Miss World 2018.
