The 24-year-old beauty is a former student from Edinburgh University and has been raising funds for the Alzheimer Scotland charity. It's a cause that's close to her heart after she previously revealed her granddad had suffered from the condition. Keryn Matthew is no stranger to pageants as she was second runner-up in Miss Scotland 2016. The newly crowned queen’s court included –

First Runner-Up – Celine Robertson

Second Runner-Up – Jodie Weir

All the 18 contestants worked extremely hard for their chosen charities and collectively raised tens of thousands of pounds. Former Miss World Scotland 2018 Linzi McClelland at the finale expressed her feelings and said: “What a night! It was so difficult being a judge; the girls were all so beautiful and really embraced ‘Beauty With A Purpose’. She also further added, “I am so happy for Keryn, our new Miss Scotland. I know she will be a great ambassador for Scotland and has already got a great charity project that she is looking forward to sharing at Miss World later in the year. She has an amazing year ahead and will make the best memories. Well done Keryn!”

Keryn is going to have some tough shoes to fill as Linzi McClelland from East Kilbride was the pride of Scotland after finishing in the top 12 and being crowned Miss UK at the glittering 68th Miss World final held in China but Scotland is yet to pioneer its win for the title of Miss World.
