At the conclusion of the splendid finale of Miss World Slovenia 2016 held on 8th September 2016 Maja Taradi was crowned as the winner. Maja succeeds Miss World Slovenia 2015 Mateja Kociper, and will now represent Slovenia at the Miss World 2016 pageant.

Maja Taradi Miss World Slovenia 2016
Maja is a graduate in dental prosthetics and is a student of oral hygiene. The newly crowned beauty makes sure to groom herself overcoming all her flaws and has excellent communication skills. Maja is full of energy and zeal and believes in achieving her dreams keeping in sync with her values. She defeated 11 other finalists to clinch the coveted title of Miss World Slovenia 2016.

In addition to winning the title and the crown, Maja was also awarded with lots of opportunities. She will now have to fulfil various duties and responsibilities as the reigning Miss World Slovenia. The finalists competed through various segments including – corporate wear, swim-wear, and evening gown round.
At the same pageant, Alena Music was adjudged first runner-up and Ana Kondic was titled second runner-up. In addition to announcing the winner and the runners-up, a series of Special Awards were also awarded to the contestants. Sandra Zulic won Miss Fresh Face and Urska Gracar won Miss Online award.
Nives Orešnik Miss Slovenia 2012 was one of the jury members at the finale. Various prominent singers and musicians musically escalated the event with their performance.
The Miss World 2016 is slated to be held on 20th December at the Gaylord National Resort & Convention Center in the city of Washington DC, capital of the United States. Contestants from around 130 countries and autonomous territories will compete for the prestigious title. At the end of the event, Miss World 2015 Mireia Lalaguna of Spain will pass her reign and crown to her successor. Do you think Maja Taradi has what it takes to be the next Miss World?
