Scouting for Miss Uganda 2018 began early this year and is soon coming to an end, so interested women should hurry and apply, keeping in mind the following requirements to qualify for the beauty pageant as laid down by Miss Uganda Foundation.

Do you think you have what it takes to be Miss Uganda 2018, here are the requirements needed for you to qualify:

-You have to be between 18 to 25 years

- Must not to be married nor have any children.

- Must have completed at least A level.

-Ugandan by Nationality

- Possess good moral conduct

- Must be able to express yourself in proper English.

- NOT below 5'6'' without heels.

-You must not have any visible tattoos or any kind of body writings.

- Have proof of school ID and national ID photocopies

-Two photos 1portrait and 1 Full Body

If you believe that you are ready to embrace Beauty with a Purpose and represent Uganda at the Miss World Finals then go ahead and pick up a form from Miss Uganda offices, Talent Africa Offices, Sheraton Hotel Kampala.

Contestants will have to work hard on themselves as the competition is expected to be nerve wrecking this year. The grand finale is all set to be organized and is going to take place on 10th august 2018 where Miss Uganda 2016 Leah Kagasa will crown her successor and pass on the title as she still hold onto it, owing to no pageant last year. The winner will then get to showcase her talent and flaunt her beauty at Miss World 2018 pageant later this year where she will be representing her own country.

Miss Uganda is a national Beauty pageant in Uganda, traditionally known as Miss World Uganda. Miss Uganda started in the 1967 and is participating at Miss World since then. To interest young people into agriculture sector, Miss Uganda is chosen by Ministry of Agriculture as the pageant also runs on its directorship.
