Miss World Vietnam 2019 held its grand coronation night on 3rd August 2019 in Cocobay where forty delegates competed for the national crown and the opportunity to represent Vietnam in Miss World 2019. At the conclusion of the event finale, Luong Thùy Linh was crowned the new queen and succeeds Miss World Vietnam 2018 Tran Tieu Vy.
Born in 2000, the newly crowned queen comes from Cao Bang and is currently a student of Foreign Trade University. Not just a beauty queen, Luong is also an incredible achiever in academics. The Vietnamese beauty’s court included –
First Runner-Up – Nguyn Hà Kieu Loan
Second Runner-Up – Nguyen Tuong San
From the forty contestants who began, only twenty five moved forward in the competition. From them, fifteen were selected which included Luong Thùy Linh, Nguyen Hà Kieu Loan, Nguyen Tuong San, Nguyen Thi Thu Phuong, Duong Thi Ngec Thoa, Tren Hoàng Ái Nhi, Lê Thanh Tú, Tren Ðình Thech Thao, Nguyen Thi Quynh Nga, Nguyen Thi Bích Thùy, Lâm Thi Bích Tuyen, Pham Thi Anh Thu, Nguyen Thi Thanh Khoa, Ta Huyen My and Phan Cam Nhi.
Along with the winner and her court, Top 5 included - Nguyen Thi Thu Phuong and Duong Thi Ngoc Thoa. A number of special awards were also presented throughout the competition –
