Not new to the pageantry, she held the titles of Miss Africa Texas 2016, Miss Nigeria USA 2019 as she represented Abia but didn’t win. The 25-year-old left ADEX Medical Staffing and joined LeaderStat as an intensive care nurse in 2021 and has been working there since then. Her profession which requires her to be patient, kind and compassionate towards other humans and her charming personality will make her one of the strongest contestants at this year’s Miss World competition.

Apart from Oluchi Madubuike, Maristella Okpala was crowned Miss Universe Nigeria 2021 as she became the official representative of Nigeria at Miss Universe 2021. She succeeds Miss Universe Nigeria 2019 Olutosin Araromi. Adaeze Chineme bagged the title of Miss Supranational Nigeria 2022 as she will represent her country at the next edition of Miss Supranational.

The finale was a success which was hosted by Toke Makinwa, a Nigerian radio personality, television host, vlogger, lifestyle entrepreneur and author and Bovi, a Nigerian stand-up comedian, actor, and writer from Delta State who has organized popular stand-up comedy concerts like Bovi Man on Fire across the globe. The 2020 edition of national pageant was cancelled due to covid-19 spread across the world.

In 2019, Miss World Nigeria 2019 Nyekachi Douglas represented her country at Miss World and with her stunning performance, she placed in the Top 5. She was also adjudged Miss World Africa 2021 and won everyone’s hearts with her reaction on Toni-Ann Singh, the current Miss World’s crowning.

Congratulations to the winners.
