Park Ha Ri to represent Korea in Miss Universe 2020

17 Dec 2020 | Priya Bhardwaj

Miss Queen Korea director Jenny Thorn made an announcement just hours ago that Park Ha Ri has been appointed Miss Universe Korea 2020. She was crowned in a private ceremony owing to the covid-19 regulations. Park succeeds Miss Universe Korea 2019 Lee Yeon-joo and will represent her country in Miss Universe 2020.

Park is 24 years of age and works as a model. Park was a part of Miss Universe Korea 2019 where she was adjudged as the first runner-up. The stunning beauty speaks fluent English which will definitely be advantageous for her at the international contest.

She graduated from Riverside Girls High School in Australia and is currently a student of the department of modeling at Dongduk Women's University in Seoul, Korea. Park’s appointment as Miss Universe Korea 2020 came as a happy surprise because initially Korea was not going to send any delegate at 2020 edition.

Last year, Lee Yeon-joo Miss Universe Korea 2019 represented Korea at Miss Universe 2019 but unfortunately failed to place in the Top 20. The country is yet to pioneer its win in Miss Universe.

Congratulations Park!
