Miss Universe 2015 Preliminary Judges Announced

Miss Universe 2015 is slowly and steadily crawling towards the finale, and the enthusiasm and thrill is shooting up at a constant rate. But before the finale can breach in, the contestants will have to attend the Preliminary Competition, which is scheduled to be held on December 16’ 2015 at 10pm (ET). The Miss Universe Organisation has released the list of Miss Universe 2015 Preliminary Judges who will be judging the contestants and will be selecting the Top 15 on the basis of their performance, who will further go on to compete at the finals of Miss Universe 2015. Paulina Vega, the reigning Miss Universe from Colombia, shall crown her successor at the end of the event. Let’s take a look at the judges who will be scrutinizing the contestants on the basis of their performance...

The first judge is Erika Albies. Erika is the Vice President of Global Fashion Communications at IMG. Erika previously used to work at Italian fashion house Prada, where she worked for eight years. She began her career in public relations at prominent luxury labels Emanuel Ungaro, Gucci, and Armani. She graduated from the University of Rhode Island, where she ran for the university’s track team and earned a B.S. in textile merchandising.

Meet the second judge Zak Soreff. Zak is a leading entertainment marketing expert. He has worked at renowned movie studios, TV networks and streaming services in the US and overseas. He has travelled extensively throughout Europe, Asia and the Americas. He spent a decade doing European movie campaigns based out of London.

Next in the line of judges is Rocky Motwani. Rocky is an entrepreneur who recently co-founded his first fintech company, Jiko Services. Currently residing in New York, Rocky received a B.S. from NYU and an MBA from the Wharton School. Shifting our focus to the next judge, we introduce you to Nischelle Turner. Nischelle is an award-winning journalist, and was formally a correspondent for CNN Entertainment reporting for “Showbiz Tonight” and contributing entertainment segments to the New York-based morning program “New Day.”

Meet the next judge Keiko Uraguchi. Keiko is the Director of Digital Partnerships for WME | IMG, where she brings innovative digital and social media activations to the company’s diverse portfolio of Fashion, Sports and Entertainment events and clients.

 

Miss Universe 2015 Preliminary Judges Revealed

 

Next we have, film and television producer and talent manager Julio Caro. Mr. Caro was the founding Executive Producer of BMP Latin, a division of Bunim/Murray Productions, the producer of television shows such as REAL WORLD, KARDASHIANS and PROJECT RUNWAY.

Last but not the least, we have former Miss USA Erin Brady. Erin became the first woman from Connecticut to clinch the Miss USA title. She is a graduate with a degree in Finance and a minor in Criminal Justice.
