Filipina beauty Ruffa Nava had to withdraw her participation from Reinado Internacional del Café 2022 at the last moment as she tested positive for covid-19 on the eve of her flight to Colombia last New Year’s Eve.
It is indeed sad news for Philippines as the country will not be able to send a new delegate at the last time and will thus have to withdraw the participation this year. Ruffa is definitely sad and disappointed with this latest development. It could have been her second and last time to represent Philippines at an international competition but everything happens for a reason.
Everyone is wishing Ruffa a speedy recovery as this pandemic has become a real spoiler. Ruffa hails from San Luis, Batangas. Last, Ruffa was a candidate at Miss World Philippines 2021.
Reinado Internacional del Café 2022, the 50th edition of the international pageant, is all set to be held on 8th January 2022 at the Centro Cultural y Convenciones Teatro Los Fundadores, Colombia where delegates from all over the globe will compete for the international crown. The winner will succeed Iris Yazminhe Guerra Reina Internacional Del Cafe 2020/21.
