Miss Universe and Miss World are one of the most prestigious pageants conducted every year. Back to back win victory in any pageant is rare to happen but if we talk about the sandwich wins where you can win the first year, rest awhile for the second year and then thump back at the third is still possible. So let’s take a look at Miss Universe and Miss World sandwich victories through the years.

Miss Universe

The first ever sandwich victory was witnessed when in 1954, Miriam Stevenson from United States of America won the title of Miss Universe and then in 1956, USA again made a comeback with Carrol Morris winning Miss Universe 1956 title.

Miss World

Miss Universe has managed to see such victories time after time, whereas Miss World is known for only one such triumph in its history of 66 years. India’s Diana Hayden and Yukta Mookhey created history by engraving their country’s name on the title of Miss Universe in the year 1997 and 1999 respectively.
