Erika Medina was crowned Señorita Puerto Rico Reina Hispanoamericana 2018 at the grand finale of Señorita Puerto Rico 2018 which was held a few days ago on 30th June 2018. Erika won the crown defeating four other beautiful divas that competed along with her.

The 24-year-old Erika Medina is a social worker and a graduate of UMET University. The beautiful Latina mesmerized everyone at the competition with her grace and charm.

The newly crowned Erika succeeds and was crowned by Reina Hispanoaméricana PR 2017 Kristina Velez Toledo. Even though Kristina performed exceedingly well at the last year’s edition, she unfortunately failed to secure a place in the Top.

Erika will now represent Puerto Rico at Reina Hispanoamericana 2018 which will be held in Bolivia this year. Puerto Rico is yet to pioneer its win at the international pageant.

At the finale of Señorita Puerto Rico 2018, Tanysha Acevedo Torres was also crowned Señorita Puerto Rico Súper Talent 2018. She will represent Puerto Rico at Miss Super Talent 2018 which will be held in South Korea this year.

Señorita Puerto Rico 2018 is the national pageant that crowns its representatives to Reina Hispanoamerica and Miss Super Talent pageants annually. The pageant’s mission as stated on their official social media is “To develop the internal and external beauty of the Puerto Rican woman where all the attributes that lead her to be the bearer of an integral image representative of all Hispanoamerica are highlighted.”
