Last year, under the delegation of Steffania Rodriguez Vivas, Venezuela had a Top 5 placement in the Miss Eco International competition. Rodriguez lived up to the country’s reputation of being the pageant powerhouse of the world as she won the third runner up position at Miss Eco International 2021.

For this year’s edition, Miss Global Beauty Venezuela organization has chosen its representative for the Amaal Rezk led contest and it is none other than the beautiful and ravishing Paula Meneses. Paula won the national title on Thursday, 2nd December 2021 where she got crowned as Miss Eco Venezuela 2021, beating 14 other candidates to it. She now, not only holds the responsibility to perform just as well as her predecessor but faces the pressure to outgrow her shoes.

Paula is not new to the world of pageantry, previously she won the title of International queen of the lake in 2018. An Industrial Engineer under training, Menses loves herself a cup of coffee and is a self-described foodie at heart. With her hard work and commitment, she is bound to put forth a strong representation at the upcoming pageant.

“Be bigger than your fears,” says the queen on her Instagram handle. With the competition just a few weeks away, she admitted to be nervous about representing a whole country and shared her vulnerable side,” English, the gym, diet, classes... being queen is a huge commitment, and believe me I want to do an excellent job of which I feel proud. Sometimes I falter, I start to compare myself and my insecurities come to the surface, but thank God I have people who help me and in those moments of weakness, they lift my spirits and tell me: leave Paula, you are amazing! Don't you realize?”

She will be representing Venezuela at the 7th edition of Miss Eco International set to take place on March 14, 2022 in Cairo, Egypt, where Miss Eco International 2021 Gizzelle Uys from South Africa will crown her successor at the end of the event finale.
