Miss Mondo Italia (also known as Miss World Italy) is an annual national beauty pageant in Italy that selects a representative for the Miss World pageant. The pageant was first organized in the year 1954 but gained appreciation in the year 2000, when the winner landed as the first runner-up at the Miss World pageant. In 2000  Miss Mondo Italia 2000 winner Giorgia Palmas was the 1st Runner-up at Miss World 2000 and was titled Queen of Europe in 2000.

The reigning Miss World Italy is Silvia Cataldi hailing from Puglia who was crowned Miss World Italy 2014 on June 13’ 2014. The first runner-up is Rachelle Mori while Anna Faccin is the second runner-up. Silvia represented Italy at the Miss World 2014 pageant, but did not qualify to the list of semifinalists.

Miss World Italy 2015 pageant is scheduled to be held on June 13’ 2015. At the coronation night, Silvia will pass on her crown and her reign to one of the fifty finalists.
