Miss Grand International is an annual international beauty pageant which commenced in the year 2013 and is organized by Miss Grand International Organization based in Thailand and founded by Nawat Itsaragrisil.
Miss Grand International 2020
Miss Grand International 2020, the 8th edition of Miss Grand International, was held on 27th March 2021 at the Show DC Hall in Bangkok, Thailand. Candidates from sixty-three countries competed for the international crown and at the end of the event finale, Abena Appiah of USA was crowned the new queen by her predecessor Valentina Figuera Miss Grand International 2019. Abena created history by winning the first Miss Grand International crown for her country. Her court comprised of 1st Runner-up – Samantha Mae Bernardo of Philippines, 2nd Runner-up – Ivana Batchelor of Guatemala, 3rd Runner-up – Aurra Kharishma of Indonesia, 4th Runner-up – Lala Guedes of Brazil.
Miss Grand International 2019
Miss Grand International 2019, the seventh edition of the Miss Grand International beauty pageant, was held on 25th October in the city of Caracas, Venezuela. This was the first time that the contest was held in the South America continent. At the end of the event finale, Valentina Figuera of Venezuela (20 years/ 184 cm) was crowned the new queen. Her court comprised of first runner-up María Malo Juvera of Mexico, second runner-up - Arayha Suparurk (Coco Arayha) of Thailand, third runner-up – Carmen Drayton of Panama and fourth runner-up Marjorie Marcelle of Brazil.
Miss Grand International 2018
Miss Grand International 2018 was held on 25th October 2018 in Yangon, Myanmar with 75 contestants competing for the title. At the conclusion of the event Clara Sosa of Paraguay was crowned as Miss Grand International 2018. Her court comprised of Meenakshi Chaudhary of India (first runner-up), Nadia Purwoko of Indonesia (second runner-up), Nicole Colon of Puerto Rico (third runner-up) and Haruka Oda of Japan (fourth runner-up).
Miss Grand International 2017
Miss Grand International 2017 was held on 25th October 2017 in Phú Quoc, Vietnam with 77 contestants competing for the title. At the conclusion of the event María José Lora of Peru was crowned as Miss Grand International 2017. Her court comprised of Tulia Rosa María Alemán Ferrer of Venezuela (first runner-up), Elizabeth Durado Clenci of Philippines (second runner-up), Brenda Azaria Jiménez of Puerto Rico (third runner-up) and Nikola Uhlírová of Czech Republic (fourth runner-up).
Miss Grand International 2016
Miss Grand International 2016 was held on 25th October 2016 in Las Vegas, Nevada, United States and at the conclusion of the event Ariska Putri Pertiwi of Indonesia was crowned as the winner from amongst 76 candidates competing for the title. Her court comprised of Nicole Cordoves of Philippines (first runner-up), Supaporn Malisorn of Thailand (second runner-up), Madison Anderson of Puerto Rico (third runner-up) and Michelle León of USA (fourth runner-up).
Miss Grand International 2015
Anea Garcia of Dominican Republic was initially crowned as Miss Grand International 2015 at the finale held in Bangkok, Thailand on 25th October 2015. The runners-up were Claire Parker of Australia (first runner-up), Vartika Singh from India (second runner-up), Parul Shah from Philippines (third runner-up) and Rattikorn Kunsom from Thailand (fourth runner-up). 77 candidates from around the world competing for the title. Later, after Anea resigned from her title, Claire Parker of Australia was crowned as the new queen. In 2019, Claire Parker was dethroned due to her competing in another pageant, but no new titleholder of Miss Grand International 2015 crown was announced.
Miss Grand International 2014
Lees Garcia of Cuba was crowned as Miss Grand International 2014 at the finale held in Bangkok, Thailand on 7th October 2014 defeating 84 other beauties competing for the title. Her court comprised of Hiwot Mamo of Ethiopia (first runner-up), Kathryn Kohut of Canada (second runner-up), Renera Thompson of Australia (third runner-up) and Monica Castano Agudelo of Colombia (fourth runner-up).
Miss Grand International 2013
Miss Grand International 2013, the inaugural edition of Miss Grand International beauty pageant, was held on 19th November 2013 in Bangkok, Thailand, and had 71 contestants from across the globe competing for the maiden title. Janelee Chaparro from Puerto Rico was crowned as Miss Grand International 2013. Her court comprised of Chantel Martínez of Dominican Republic (first runner-up), Denisa Paseciakova of Slovakia (second runner-up), Annalie Forbes of Philippines (third runner-up) and Kelly Louise Maguire of Australia (fourth runner-up).
