After three hours of splendid final night ceremonies at Indoor Stadium Huamark in Bangkok, Thailand, the winner of Miss Grand International 2014 pageant was proclaimed. Daryanne Lees of Cuba was crowned as Miss Grand International 2014 by her predecessor Janelee Chaparro, Miss Grand International 2013.
Daryanne, 27 years of age and stands tall at 171 cm works as a front desk manager, at the Hilton Hotel. She has been participating in pageants since the age of 18. Earlier, she competed in Miss Puerto Rico Teen, Miss World Puerto Rico and Miss Universe Puerto Rico.
The four other ladies who reached the magic circle are first runner-up Hiwot Mamo of Ethiopia, second runner-up Kathryn Kohut of Canada, third runner-up Renera Thompson of Australia and fourth runner-up Monica Castano Agudelo of Colombia.
