At the splendid finale of Miss Grand International 2017 recently concluded, María José Lora from Peru was declared as the winner and crowned Miss Grand International 2017. She becomes the first beauty from South America to win Miss Grand International title. She succeeds and was crowned by her predecessor Ariska Putri Pertiwi of Indonesia, Miss Grand International 2016 and the first Asian winner of Miss Grand International pageant. She was part of our Top 12 favourites to win the title.
María, who is 27 years of age, stands at a prominent height of 180 cm. The beautiful new queen is an entrepreneur and proudly owns La' Belle Model Management, an agency for new and established models based in Los Angeles. She has modelling experience of over eight years. She can speak English, Spanish, and Portuguese fluently, and is also learning Italian. An outgoing and confident person, María likes to read about personal growth and motivation to gain a perspective on life and get inspired. Exploring different cultures and countries, she all dreamed of travelling all around the world, well now her dream has come true after winning the pageant. She was asked the final question at the end of the pageant whether she is ready to travel the world and she said, “Oh Yes! I am so ready.” This tall and independent queen has finally done it!
