Eyga Mojus was appointed as Miss Grand South Sudan 2017 to take part in Miss Grand International 2017 as the representative of South Sudan in the pageant which kicked off on 5th October 2017.
The dazzling 26-year-old beauty stands tall at 175 cm tall, weighs 57 kg and has vitals of 34-26-37. She loves to play flag football, basketball, and volleyball. She is working as the Director of Public Relations for a creative advertising company, while pursuing her studies in real estate in San Diego, California.
Been in the pageantry world for 5 years now, Eyga holds the title of Miss Grand South Sudan 2017, Miss Bel Air USA 2017, Miss South Sudan USA 2015, while she was Miss California 2016 finalist, Miss Africa 2015 finalist, Miss Santa Monica USA finalist, and first runner-up at Miss Pasadena USA. She was also featured on the Huffington Post for being the first South Sudanese women to win the title of Miss Bel Air USA 2017.
This aspiring author is actively involved in humanitarian activities and she is also a model. Eyga created Inspiring Black Women Calendar (IBW), a cause to motivate black women to feel beautiful. To inspire and teach young women about the world of pageantry, she also works as a pageant consultant in a pageant academy.
"My number one priority as a human being is to make a positive impact in my community and inspire the next generation to be great leaders and role models. I am so excited to compete at Miss Grand International 2017 representing my country South Sudan, the world’s youngest nation. I'm much honoured to have joined the grand family because of what the organization stands for," she said after she was appointed Miss Grand South Sudan 2017.
In her own words, “One of my favourite quotes is Princess Diana I want to be the Queen of people’s heart. I believe that being a titleholder means much more when helping the community. The legacy I want to leave to the next generation is to believe in yourself and chase your dreams. The key to success is consistency, dedication and determination. I'm over-joyed with the amount of love and support I've been receiving; you are all appreciated so much. I promise to continue representing our beautiful young nation SouthSudan to the best of my ability and with you all by my side that crown will be coming home with us.”
