Miss Latvia is an annual national beauty pageant that selects representatives for the Miss World beauty pageant. The Miss and Mr. Latvia Organisation was founded in 2015 by sisters Julija Djadenko-Müggler (Miss World University 2004) and Kristina Djadenko (Miss Latvia 2005). It is the successor to the "Mis Latvija" organisation which was founded by Ms. Inta Fogele.

Based on an agreement reached in 2015 with Ms. Fogele, the Djadenko sisters were given the exclusive rights to organize all future Miss Latvia pageants. Miss Latvia Organisation aims at bringing the beauty of Latvia to the world in the most organized manner and according to international beauty standards.

All contestants are given the unique opportunity to develop their talents, personal identity and improve their awareness of Latvia and the world through their participation in this premier event.  The contestants are expected to conduct themselves towards in a dedicated manner towards their goals.

The ultimate goal of Miss Latvia title holders is to represent and promote Latvia with pride and honor in international beauty pageants throughout the world.

2016

Miss Latvia 2016 was held on July 23’ 2016 and Linda Kinca was crowned as the winner.

2015

Miss Latvia 2015 is Lasma Zemene who represented Latvia at the Miss World 2015 pageant, but remained unplaced.
