Miss Universe 2016 finale was held on 30th January 2017. 86 contestants from all across the world will be participating at the pageant. At the conclusion of the splendid finale of Miss Universe 2016, Iris Mittenaere of France was crowned as the winner. The finale was held at the Mall of Asia Arena, and at the conclusion of the gala finale, Pia Wurtzbach crowned Iris as her successor.

Raquel Pelissier of Haiti was adjudged first runner-up while Andrea Tovar of Colombia was titled second runner-up. The Miss Universe pageant indulges in various charitable works, The Miss Universe Organization and Dutch development agency, Cordaid, have partnered to create a global fund that will raise awareness and money for regions of the Philippines struggling to recover in the wake of typhoon Yoland.
