Miss Tourism International 2014-15 is the 18th edition of the international tourism pageant and will be held in Malaysia, with finals scheduled for December 31' 2014 at the Putrajaya International Convention Centre (PICC). More than 60 beauties from across the globe will be competing for the title. Since the pageant commenced in the Year 1994, this year also marks the 20th anniversary of the pageant. Angeli Dione Gomez from Philippines, the reigning Miss Tourism International, will crown her successor at the finals of the pageant.

VIEW CONTESTANTS PROFILES

The new-year eve competition was officially launched at Marriot Putrajaya Resort Hotel and Spa on December 12' 2014. The theme of this year's pageant is ‘Bringing the World to Malaysia’. As a platform for tourism, culture and friendship, the principal organiser of the pageant D’Touch International is working in collaboration with the Tourism and Culture Ministry as well as Tourism Malaysia.

Among the beautiful places the contestants will be visiting are Aquaria KLCC, Langkawi, Teluk Intan in Perak, and a Light Festival hosted by Putrajaya Corporation. Contestants will have the chance to win five main titles — Miss Tourism Queen of the Year International, Miss Tourism Metropolitan International, Miss Tourism Global International, Miss Tourism Cosmopolitan, and the grand title Miss Tourism International 2014 / 2015. This year, there will be also a special award for one of the delegates chosen from seven participating ASEAN countries for the Miss South East Asia 2014 / 2015.

In addition to the crown and trophies, the top five winners will receive cash prizes, vouchers as well as a scholarship sponsored by Asia Metropolitan University (AMU) worth RM250,000 each.
