The Green eyed Beauty from Croatia, Ivana Misura is one of the strongest contenders for Miss Universe 2015. The 24 year old model from the city of Zagreb was crowned Miss Universe Croatia 2014 and will represent her country in the Miss Universe 2015. On April 10 2014 Misura was honored with Miss Universe Hrvatske 2014, at the Marina Cvetkovica Sports Complex in the coastal resort town of Opatija. At the same event Meri Bencic was the first runner-up and Andrea Generalic was the second runner-up. Mateji Hunjed bagged the special award of Miss Photogenic. Ivana Misura competed with nineteen other beautiful Croatian ladies to win the Miss Universe Hrvatske 2014 title.
The reigning Miss Universe, Gabriela Isler from Venezuela who was crowned on November 9, 2013 in Moscow, Russia, will now pass on her crown to a deserving lady who will be chosen on 25th January 2015 at Florida International University in Doral, Miami, Florida, USA.

Ivana Misura comes from a large family. Abiding by her Zodiac sign, Leo, she carries a warm personality with an air of royalty. Ruled by the Sun, Ivana has a very energetic persona and gives out a positive vibe. With a sun kissed complexion and perfect curves, Misura stands tall at 171 cm. Like any other young girl, Ivana too is a fun loving chirpy person. She has the habit of abbreviating and nicknaming every place, people and everything she owns. Ivana has the habit of saying “get it?” and “really” at the end of every sentence with a funny accent. Ivana believes that her biggest asset is her breathtaking smile, she lives by the quote – “Eyes are the mirror of the Soul” and loves to do what makes her happy.
Ivana Misura, who will be representing her country, Croatia in 2015 Miss Universe feels highly towards her country and is extremely overwhelmed and tremendously thrilled about competing for the coveted title.
When asked how she feels to represent her country, Ivana proudly states
“I definitely have to point out that the second and third season of world famous series ‘Game of Thrones’ was filmed in our beautiful Dubrovnik, Croatia. Croatia is also home to the smallest city in the world, Hum, on Istrian Peninsula. One more interesting fact about my country is that in Croatia we call our country Hrvatska, not Croatia.”
Ivana Misura will be entering the pageant with ten beautiful dresses; her national costume has been designed by Mina Petra which she will be donning at the Natioanl Costume preliminary round of Miss Universe 2014. Ivana is expected to be donning an off white and red coloured simple yet graceful National costume.

The last time we witnessed a contestant from Croatia, it was ELizabeta Berg in 2012 who managed to make it to Top 16. Will Misura cross the Top 16 notch and outshine her previous predecessors and make her country proud by clinching the most desirable title of Miss Universe? Going by her vivacious and elegant persona and striking confidence, Ivana Misura can be a tough competition to the other contestants fighting for the coveted title.
