Miss Cosmo Vietnam 2023, the 6th edition of Hoa hau Hoan vu Viet Nam, was held at Tea Resort Prenn, Da L?t, Lam Dong, Vietnam on 31st December 2023 where Bui Thi Xuan Hanh was crowned as the new winner. Miss Cosmo Vietnam 2022 Nguyen Thi Ngoc Chau from Tay Ninh crowned her successor at the finale night.
The newly crowned Miss Cosmo Vietnam 2023 Bui Thi Xuan Hanh will represent Vietnam at Miss Cosmo International 2024. Bui is 22 years of age and hails from Ninh Bình. She studied at Luong Van Tuy High School for the Gifted and graduated from National Economics University. Not new to the pageantry, Bui was also the runner-up at The Face Vietnam 2023.
Also at the finale, Hoang Thi Nhung was adjudged as the runner-up while Top 5 also included Cao Thi Thien Trang, Ngo Bao Ngoc and Vu Thuy Quynh. Top 10 also included Phan Le Hoang An, Dau Hai Minh Anh, Kieu Thi Thuy Hang, Pham Thu Huyen and Le Thi Tuyet Nhi.
The panel of jury who were responsible for crowning Miss Cosmo Vietnam 2023 included Le Diep Linh – Doctor of Anthropometry, Tran Thi Houng Giang – Miss H?i Doung 2006 & Miss Grand Slam Asia, Vu Thu Phoung – Supermodel & businessmen, Nguyen Tran Khanh Van – Runner-up Supermodel Vietnam 2018 & Miss Universe Vietnam 2019, H'Hen Nie – Miss Universe Vietnam 2017, Kathy Uyen – Director & Educator and Qu?nh Hoa – MC & Singer.
The 2023 edition of the national pageant was also the first edition held by Cong ty Co phan Hoan vu Sài Gòn (Unicorp) under the name Hoa hau Hoàn vu Viet Nam, before being granted to a new national license holder. The organization made the official announcement in August 2023 which was as follows, “UniCorp - UniMedia has officially announced “Miss Cosmo Vietnam” as the international brand name for the national competition “Hoa Hau Hoan Vu Viet Nam” and the entire change of the brand identity following the beginning of a new era.”
Bui will compete at Miss Cosmo International 2024, the first international beauty pageant to be held in Vietnam. Founded by Unimedia, the pageant is set to take place in Ho Chi Minh City (HCMC) in 2024.
