Natasha Mannuela has been crowned as the winner of Miss Indonesia 2016, at the finals held on February 24’ 2016. Natasha Mannuela succeeds Maria Harfanti, Miss Indonesia 2015, who was also the second runner-up at the Miss World 2015 pageant. Natasha Mannuela will now represent Indonesia at the Miss World 2016 pageant. At the same event, Editha Aldillasari Rodianto was titled first runner-up, Dian Bernika Ayuningtyas Silalahi was titled second runner-up, Kidung Paramadita was adjudged third runner-up and Nabila Astrid finished as the fourth runner-up.

Miss Indonesia 2016 commenced with a series of lavish musical performances. The contestants looked all excited and the crowd was equally elated.

The pageant moved ahead with the announcement of the Top 15 finalists - Sukma Astiti, Natasha Mannuela, Editha Aldillasari Rodianto, Yusranie Noory Assipalma, Nita Naomi, Venezia Indra Ghassani, Olivia Leanartha, Ellen Gracia Natalia, Nabila Astrid, Kidung Paramadita, Leinda Melissa Wattimena, Cindy Claudia Hanels, Natasya Maria Magdalena Lasut, Dian Bernika Ayuningtyas Silalahi and Shabira Maharani.
Further, the winners for the Special Awards under the following categories were announced –

Yusranie Noory Assipalma – Miss Sports and Miss Lifestyle

Kidung Paramadita – Miss Nature and Beauty Fashion
Annisa Astari Savira Lubis – Miss Online
Dian Bernika Ayuningtyas Silalahi – Miss Social Media
The announcement of Top 15 and Special Awards was followed by the Question and Answer round. After the Question and Answer round, the Top 15 finalists were narrowed down to Top 5 finalists - Natasha Mannuela, Editha Aldillasari Rodianto, Nabila Astrid, Kidung Paramadita and Dian Bernika Ayuningtyas Silalahi. The Top 5 finalists then went through a common question and answer round, which led to the final announcement of the winner.

The finale of Miss Indonesia 2016 was graced by the reigning Miss World from Spain, Mireia Lalaguna. Mireia was the Speical Guest of Honour at the pageant finale. Indonesia has had a good run at Miss World pageant since 2011 and has won three beauty with the purpose contest (2011,2014 & 2015).
