It was the night of excitement and glitter, which culminated with the crowning of Trinidad Rendic Munizaga from La Serena as the winner of Miss Supranational Chile 2016. She succeeds Valentina Schnitzer, Miss Supranational Chile 2015, and will now go on to represent Chile in the Miss Supranational 2016 pageant in Poland later this year.
Ten beautiful contestants competing for the crown sashayed in swimwear, cocktail dresses and evening gowns, and six finalists were selected - Trinidad Rendic Munizaga (La Serena), Camila Candia (Curico), Dafne Schneider Faret (Viña Del Mar), Claudia Arteaga (Chillan), Verónica Andrea Calderón Macaya (Cajon Del Maipo), and Javiera Victoria Meza Carrillo (Punta Arenas).
From the six finalists, Verónica Andrea Calderón Macaya was declared the second runner-up and Camila Candia was declared the first runner-up, and the title went to Trinidad Rendic Munizaga.
