A phenomenal day in history for land of smiles – Thailand, as it finally managed to win an International beauty pageant. Miss Thailand Patraporn Wang won the title of Miss Intercontinental 2014 at the Finals of Miss Intercontinental pageant held on December 4th 2014 at the Maritim Hotel in the "Conference City Magdeburg". Also, for the first time, Two Asian delegates entered the Top 3.
Patraporn Wang, Age 19, 180 cm tall, is very happy and said she is willing to do volunteer work in Nepal. She won a 15,000.00 USD Prize and a 12 months contract of 15,000.00 USD. She also gets to move to Germany if she wants to. She will also be the VIP Guest at Top Model of World contest.
Miss Cuba - Jeslie Mergal was the first runner up and awarded a prize money of 3,000.00 USD
Going against the expectations of most of the people, Miss Philippines - Kris Tiffany Janson settled at the third place. After she nailed Q &A, she was the strongest contender but eventually Thai bet was favored by the judges. Kris received 1,500.00 USD Prize Money.
