Nunchnarin Sinlaparak from Thailand was crowned as Miss Tourism World 2016 in Swiss Garden Hotel Melaka, Malaysia on the 16’ January 2016 after defeating 49 other crown contenders. She succeeds Tomomi Kondou from Japan. Johanna Yoselin Norona Onofre from Ecuador was titled as first runner up, Karen Aliberti from Venezuela was adjudged as second runner up, Sara Stojanovic from Serbia was announced as third runner up and Shelby Tribble from Great Britain was declared the fourth runner up.

For the first time, Miss Tourism World 2015-2016 was held in the beautiful country of Malaysia. Over 50 countries from around the world vied for the title of Miss Tourism World 2015-2016. The Miss Tourism World 2015-2016 contestants were enjoying the wonderful delights of Malaysia, which was quite evident as they strutted on the runway in the finale.

After rocking the runway in the swimsuit and evening gown competition, the list of finalists was trimmed down to Top 15 semi-finalists.

In the midst of the pageant, the Continental titles were also allocated to the delegates, amongst whom Australia bagged the Continental Queen of Oceania title, Spain bagged the Continental Queen of Europe Continental, Kenya won the Continental Queen of Africa, Honduras triumphed the Continental Queen of Americas and Thailand bagged the Continental Queen of Asia title.

As the show progressed towards the conclusion, the enthrallment to witness the new Miss Tourism World was becoming even more nail biting. After the final Question and Answer segment the hosts announced the name of the new winner before the jovial audience and the world went crazy with joy after witnessing the newly crowned beauty queen. The coronation gala continued for three hours and was totally breathtaking. Congratulations to all the winners!
