Miss United Continents 2015 pageant has kicked off with its third edition and is scheduled to be held on September 12’ 2015 at the Teatro Central Cívico Eloy Alfaro in Guayaquil, Ecuador. Amidst the pageant preparation, the delegates are also getting their photoshoots done, including swimsuit photoshoot and headshots. Recently the girls visited the city hall of Guayaquil. The Miss United Continents contestants were welcomed by the Deputy Mayor, Mrs. Doménica Tabacchi and the Advisor of the Municipal Enterprise of Tourism Management, Gloria Gallardo.

The purpose behind the visit was to learn about the Foundation FUVIDA that works with the Miss United Continents Organization. FUVIDA works with the objective to help children with type 1 diabetes. The organisation abides by the slogan “Learning to live with diabetes”. All the delegates were very excited about the visit and each one also gave a gift of their own nations to the local authorities. The contestants expressed their joy by stating that the city of Guayaquil received them with great affection.

The delegates also received a calendar with postcards of the city, presented to them by the President of the Foundation, Mrs. Aracely Bazurto Calderón. In addition to that, the contestants also proudly wore the official jewel with the logo of the contest, created by the talented Ecuadorian Designer, Mr. Christian Quintero. After their visit to the city hall of Guayaquil, all the contestants are now geared up for their press presentation which is to take place today at San Juan Hotel with the support of Ottie cosmetics.
