Former Miss World Rolene Strauss is now counting up to the countdown of her baby’s birth, now that she is done with her final exams. Rolene, who is currently studying medicine at the University of the Free State in Bloemfontein, has finished her exams and is enjoying the last couple of weeks before motherhood.
Updating her baby bump pics on her Instagram, the former beauty queen expressed her relief at being able to catch up on her sleep. She also expressed her excitement of finally spending quality time with her husband D'Niel Strauss at her favourite place on Earth. “Just finished writing my last paper for the year," she wrote. "Packed and on our way to my favourite place on earth. It is now time for family, rest and awaiting our little miracle... So grateful!"
According to You Magazine the couple's baby is due next month. Miss World 2014 Rolene Strauss confirmed her pregnancy in August. Rolene resumed her studies after finishing her reign as Miss World. The beauty queen recently posted a picture with a message for her husband. She said, "Every so often I experience moments where it seems like I become completely objective and truly appreciate certain things in my life... Thank you for loving me unconditionally, for making me your first priority and for believing in the power of us."
Rolene Strauss was crowned Miss World 2014 on 4th December 2014 at the ExCeL London in London, UK besting 120 contestants. She successfully completed her reign, and now the beauty queen is ready to embark upon a new journey.
