The much awaited finale of Miss Universe Canada 2016 has been culminated with the crowning of Siera Bearchell of Moose Jaw as the winner. Siera was crowned by her predecessor, Miss Universe Canada 2015 Paola Nunez Valdez. Siera will now represent Canada at the Miss Universe 2016 slated to be held later this year.

The scintillating 13th gala night of Miss Universe Canada 2016 took place on June 11’ 2016 at the St. Lawrence Centre for the Arts – The Bluma Appel Theatre in Toronto, Ontario, At the same event, Amber Bernachi was adjudged the first runner-up and will represent Canada at the Miss International 2016 pageant in Japan; Kesiah Papasin was titled as second runner-up, Camila Gonzalez was titled third runner-up and Sian Slingerland finished as fourth runner-up.
Siera Bearchell clinched the eminent crown of Miss Universe Canada 2016 after defeating 63 other gorgeous contestants.
Siera hails from Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan, and stands tall at a towering height of 174cm. She co-owns her own line of clothing called Watered Down Apparel, which provides 30 days of clean water for every item sold and helps provide clean water projects in Kenya, Ghana, Ethiopia and Haiti, with their partner organization, Water Is Life. She also competed at the Miss Supranational 2015 pageant held in Poland, where she was titled as first runner-up.

The gala coronation night of Miss Universe Canada 2016 was judged by the eminent panel of juries which included -Dr. A. Mark Awadalla, Elena Semikina, Miss Universe Canada 2010, George De La Rosa is currently the Chief Executive Officer of Luminus Financial, Gloria Sanders, a private condo development investor, Gregg Zaun, Jaffa Coen, Natalie Deane, Sarah Awadalla, Reza Zarmehr and Travis Dhanraj.
