Hailing from the city of La Dalia, Matagalpa, Silvia Elena Blandon Castro is one of the finalists of Miss Mundo Nicaragua 2016. She has completed her graduation in business administration from the University of UNAN FAREM.
Silvia states that education is a major key in personal development, without education one cannot grow as a responsible person.
The 23 years old describes herself as a fighter and strong person who loves to support social work. Silvia is fond of fashion and loves to follow latest fashion trends.
She thanks God for all the beautiful things which he gives her in her life, especially her parents and siblings. She admires the culture of her country and enjoys being close to nature.
She is a woman full of talent, and loves taking news challenges in life, because she thinks she learns a lot from them.
Her favourite pass time is; reading about social and economic issues, travelling around the country, and exploring the culture of Nicaragua.
Silvia has a belief that Miss Mundo Nicaragua is a competition which chooses a person on the basis of their vision. Inspired by it, she decided to take part in the Miss World Nicaragua 2016.
She wants to focus on providing support to the people who are totally abandoned by their families.
Silvia wants to conduct activities that will help her raise funds, and with those funds she will help the needy people. She said.
If she wins, she will use Miss Mundo Nicaragua platform to change the world.
