The grand finale of Miss Puerto Rico International 2015 concluded with the crowning of Wilmary Moncion Roman as Miss Puerto Rico International 2015. Wilmary will now represent Puerto Rico at the Miss International 2015 beauty pageant to be held on November 5’ 2015 at the Shinagawa Prince Hotel Hiten Hall in Tokyo, Japan.
The 24-year-old beauty was crowned by the reigning Miss Puerto Rico International 2014, Valerie Hernandez. Wilmary represented Salinas in Miss Universe Puerto Rico 2015. Although a top favorite to clinch the title, she only finished in the top 12.
The competition at the Miss International 2015 pageant is not going to be easy given the list of contestants vying for the title. But Wilmary has double responsibility on her shoulders, since the winner of Miss International 2014 is from her country.
If Wilmary Moncion Roman wins she will be the third Miss Puerto Rico to win the title. First was Laurie Simpson in 1987 and second was Valerie Hernandez in 2014.
