Miss Supranational Venezuela organization held the coronation ceremony for the 2021 edition on 27th May 2021 at the Globovisión studios with all the covid-19 security measures in check. Valentina Sánchez Trivella was crowned as Miss Supranational Venezuela 2021 at the end of the event finale by her predecessor Miss Supranational Venezuela 2019 Gabriela De La Cruz.

Valentina Sánchez Trivella went on to represent her country at Miss Supranational 2021, which was held on 21st August 2021 at the Strzelecki Park Amphitheater, Nowy Sacz. She placed as the third runner-up at the finale.

Trivella was the last finalist to answer the question during the question-and-answer round. She was asked, "Climate change is the biggest challenge the world is facing. Why do you think we, as human beings, are not taking it seriously?” Valentina answered, "I don’t believe, I don’t think, I don’t know why we are not taking this issue seriously. It is affecting millions of lives. I feel like there are many social issues, like global warming or mental health, that we should look at from a global citizen perspective, and what that means is being conscious of how each one of our decisions and actions has an impact on the lives of other people and the entire world.”  She added that the past year has proved that it is true and now we should make a decision to be more conscious and cultivate respect for the world and other people in our everyday lives.
