Since a very young age, Taylah has been completely in love with animals and therefore she completed her degree in Vet Nursing. She wants to continue her studies and become a licensed vet in the future. Taylah’s most memorable day was the time when she got her first pet at the age of 16 years. She has since adopted 30 animals. It won’t be wrong to say that she is truly an animal lover.

Taylah’s Beauty with a Purpose project involves creating awareness amongst the farmers of Australia who are currently facing a serious drought. Due to this crisis, the effect is global and she wants to provide immediate aid and support to them.

During her free time, Taylah likes to do Aerial Yoga and go out for hikes. She also enjoys writing poems and songs and is also a makeup teacher. Taylah is very fond of Paolo Coelho’s writings and her favourite book is ‘The Alchemist’. Her interest in hiking and other adventure sports inspires her personal motto, which is ‘Do the things that scare you.’

Taylah was crowned Miss World Australia 2018 during the coronation ceremony held on 13th August 2018. She succeeds Miss World Australia 2017 Esma Voloder who represented Australia in Miss World 2017. Although Esma was not able to secure a position in the finale, she did secure a position in the Top 20 in the Beauty with a Purpose project.

Taylah is a beautiful, strong and compassionate person and therefore has a very solid chance of winning the crown. Australia has won the title of Miss World twice since its commencement, once in the year 1968 when Penelope Plummer took the crown home, and once in the year 1972 when Belinda Green became Miss World 1972, so here’s to hoping that this year, Taylah brings the crown home!
