At the finale of the grand coronation night of Miss World Australia 2018 held tonight, Taylah Cannon was crowned the new queen by the outgoing Miss World Australia 2017 Esma Voloder. Taylah will now represent her beautiful country in the upcoming Miss World 2018.
Taylah Cannon has studied to become a veterinary nurse who also likes to teach in her spare time. She is currently working as a make-up artist. Taylah is a woman of multiple heritages with French, Italian and Spanish descent. She loves fostering animals and taking care of them. The gorgeous beauty was also the winner of the Top Model Competition. Taylah was also a part of our Top 10 favourite contestants competing for the title.

Second Runner-Up – La’Ace de Vries
Third Runner-Up – Georgia Dewstow Smith
Fourth Runner-Up – Yasmin Ildes
The finale witnessed thirty gorgeous divas who competed for the national title. As the finale progressed the accomplished panel of jury announced the top 10 contestants - Lavina White, La'Ace de Vries, Yasmin Ildes, Taylor Cannon, Lucinda Nicholas, Emma Peterson, Catherina Jorgensen, Samara Welbourne, Jenayah Elliott and Georgia Dewstow-Smith.
As the Top 10 divas went through a rigorous judging in their flowing evening gowns, the judges evaluated the contestants on the basis of their personality, eloquence and walk to select the Top 5 who moved further in the competition – Taylor Cannon, Lavinia White, Georgia Dewstow Smith, La’Ace de Vries and Yasmin Ildes.
There were multiple special awards handed out to the gorgeous ladies throughout the competition - Yasmin Ildes won the Social media Challenge, Taylor Cannon took home the Top Model Competition while the youngest diva of the competition Georgia Dewstow-Smith took away two titles – Miss Talent as well as won the Sports Challenge.
