
The event finale of Miss World Australia 2018 will be held on 31st August 2018 where the gorgeous Australian contestants will be competing for the national title. The winner will be presented with the prestigious chance to represent Australia at Miss World 2018 to be held on 8th December 2018 in Sanya, China.
Miss World Australia 2017 Esma Voloder will crown the national winner at the end of the event. Esma represented Australia in Miss World 2017 where she failed to secure a top place.

Australia has won the title of Miss World twice in the past, once in 1968 when Miss World 1968 Penelope Plummer took the crown and the second time in 1972 when Miss World 1972 Belinda Green took the crown.
