The biggest pageant of Philippines, Binibining Pilipinas 2017, is on its road to the finale and is scheduled to be held on 30th April 2017. In just three weeks, Philippines will crown its representative to the Miss Universe pageant, and the contestants are all prepared and groomed for the pageant.

Recently, the delegates visited the headquarters of Manila Bulletin in Intramuros. Joining them was Miss Grand International 2016 1st Runner-up and currently Manila Bulletin's Ambassadress/MB Rundown Host Nicole Cordoves. The girls had a nice tour of the office, and enjoyed the media house. Before showing their expertise in the finale, the girls will have to go through two major preliminary competitions – Talent Competition and Parade of Beauties.
Talent Competition of Bb Pilipinas 2017 is scheduled to be held on 8th April 2017 at Ali Mall Activity Area. From singing to dancing to monologues to more singing and dancing, the binibinis will be experiencing it all. While a number of the girls will be singing and/or dancing, there might be a number of surprises in the gala talent night. Another important event is going to be the National Costume Round, which will be exhibited during the Parade of Beauties Event, which is slated to be held on 22nd April 2017.
Recently, the girls attended the Photo Exhibit, held on 1st April 2017 at the Gateway Mall Cinema Lobby. In attendance were the 40 gorgeous Binibinis and BPCI chairwoman Mrs. Stella Marquez Araneta. The exhibition featured the pictures of 40 contestants in their swimsuits. All the girls looked happy and elated as each of them signed their pictures.

This year, the pageant is going to be different and will concentrate more on the Question and Answer round. This has been done to keep up with the new Miss Universe format. Under the new format, the candidates will get to flaunt their ability to articulate themselves under pressure while sharing a thoughtful, well-informed response during Preliminary and Final Competition.
