Philippines has been nothing short of a ball of fire this year, having performed a winning streak like never seen before in the pageant world. First, Alexandra Faith Garcia won the prestigious Miss Aura International 2021 title in early October. Following suit was Cinderella Faye Obeñita who won the Miss Intercontinental 2021 title and Maureen Montagne who was crowned as Miss Globe 2021 on 5th November, 2021.

It’s been more than two weeks since the last coronation but the enthusiasm and glee of the country refuses to fade away as a special double victory celebration was held in honour of the global winners on Tuesday.

Binibining Pilipinas hosted a combined homecoming event for Miss Intercontinental 2021 Cinderella Faye Obeñita and Miss Globe 2021 Maureen Montagne on 23rd November, 2021 at Novotel Manila Araneta City.

The queens were twinning in blue gowns designed by Ador Feliciano and Chico Estiva. Both Cindy and Maureen took to their social media to talk about their journey and growing friendship. Maureen wrote, “Queens who stay together, slay together! What a glow up. Love you so much Cindy, there’s no one who I’d rather celebrate with, even during our coronation night for Binibining Pilipinas we sat next to each other in the fitting room. From our matching send-off outfits, to our silver competition gowns, to our blue homecoming outfits we are really in tune with one another.”

Forever Twinning, Forever Binibinis! We made it,” Cindy quipped on their matching outfits on her Instagram handle.

The country now looks forward to Tracy Maureen Perez, Beatrice Luigi Gomez and Samantha Panlilio to make a mark at Miss World 2021, Miss Universe 2021 and Miss Grand International 2021 respectively and hoist the Filipino flag at all the major titles of the pageant world.
