She won the first stage of Head to Head Challenge in Group 14 and later competed with Miss Bangladesh 2019 after which she won and secured a spot in the Top 40 of Miss World 2019. Her campaign is titled ‘Project Pragati’, for which she took initiatives to help the dreams of women in tribal communities by assisting them in acquiring financial independence. Thereby, the women could manufacture the products and earn their livelihood from within their village. Her project received support from the Princess Diya Kumari Foundation and through this institution, the women were trained to make handlooms, decorative handicrafts, accessories, and jewelry. These products are sold near the Jaipur City Palace and through an online website. Suman expressed her happiness as she celebrates her one-year crown-anniversary via social media. She put up a video on her social media account stating that she still remembers everything very clearly and feels immensely blessed that the judges thought that she can be the one to represent the country at such prestigious level. She watched her crowning moment and thanked everyone who has supported her and her dreams all throughout. Suman also mentioned that this past year she spent as Miss India World 2019, was full of possibilities, uncertainties, learnings, and has given her a platform through which she understands that she has so much more to offer to the world.
