Filipina beauty queens have proven their dominance in the pageantry with incredible performances over the years. Eleven beauty queens from Philippines were given the incredible opportunity to open the Southeast Asian Games 2019 this year and these divas proved yet again that nothing is difficult for them to achieve. The divas walked with the eleven participating countries as the games officially began.
Miss Universe 2015 Pia Wurtzbach represented Philippines at the opening number as she wrote on her social media, “So happy and blessed to represent our beloved country at the opening of the 30th Southeast Asian Games. Goodluck to all the hardworking athletes. Mabuhay po kayo at mabuhay ang bansang Pilipinas!”
Miss World 2013 Megan Young was also a part of the ceremony where she walked with the Indonesian delegates. For her it was all the more special because she was crowned Miss World in Indonesia.
Miss International 2005 Precious Lara Quigaman walked with the Malaysian team at the opening night. She looked gorgeous in her turquoise outfit as she mesmerised everyone with her beauty and grace. She also wrote, “It was an honor to walk with the Malaysian Team and though I honor and respect the other delegates from the other countries, ang puso ko syempre ay para sa Pilipinas!”
Miss Intercontinental 2018 Karen Gallman also looked absolutely gorgeous at the international games in a blue traditional outfit. She was the epitome of elegance and grace, proud to be a part of such an esteemed event.
Miss Earth 2014 Jamie Herrell, Miss Earth 2015 Angelia Ong and Miss Earth 2017 Karen Ibasco, the Earth sisters, also were a part of the opening ceremony. Each of them stunned the audience with their beauty and grace.
While Miss Eco International 2018 Cynthia Thomalla dazzled in a Blue outfit for the games, Miss Asia Pacific International 2018 Sharifa Akeel wore a Tboli Princess by Eric Pineda looking ever so beautiful. Miss Tourism International 2017 Jannie Alipo-on and Miss Multinational 2017 Sophia Senoron also impressed everyone with their stunning looks.
These eleven beauties definitely raised the bar at the opening ceremony with their mesmerising beauty and elegance as the 30th Southeast Asian Games began.
