While Miss Universe Philippines Organization is gearing up to host its first edition soon, the pageant fanatics are preparing their wish-lists for the potential divas who could join the national pageant this year and represent Philippines in Miss Universe 2020. After breaking branches from Binibining Pilipinas, Miss Universe Philippines 2020 will witness participation from Filipina divas who have prior experience in the national contest as well.
Ganiel Krishnan is the one the names being circulated for the participation because of all of her accomplishments inside and outside the pageantry as well as her stunning beauty. A Filipina actress and a sports caster at ABS-CBN Philippines, Ganiel is the perfect choice for the Miss Universe Philippines 2020 crown.
The 25-year-old was born to an Indian-Singaporean father and a Filipino mother and has Studied Mass Communication (BA) at Far Eastern University. Krishnan began her entertainment career as a finalist of the now-defunct noontime show Happy Yipee Yehey!'s segment "My Girl", before being discovered by Johnny Manahan, and later signed for Star Magic. She is a fluent and confident speaker, due diligence to her profession, and makes sure she puts her point across in a conversation.
Not new to the pageantry, Ganiel participated in Miss Manila 2016 where she was the crowd favourite for the crown. She placed as the second runner-up at the coveted state pageant and went on to then participate in Mutya ng Pilipinas 2016. She was crowned as 2016 Mutya ng Pilipinas Asia-Pacific during its coronation night held at the Newport Performing Arts Theater, Resorts World Manila, Pasay City on 30th July 2016. Ganiel then went on to represent her country in Miss Asia Pacific International 2016 where she placed as the second runner-up at the end of the event finale.
Aside from all her experience and accomplishments till now, Ganiel is also an athletic person as she was a track and field athlete in high school. She is fit, experienced, fluent and one of the most stunning beauties to begin a new journey with Miss Universe Philippines 2020. What are your views?
