Jane Axhoj of Waxhaw was crowned Miss North Carolina USA 2020 on November 9, 2019 at High Point Theatre in High Point. She will represent North Carolina for the title of Miss USA 2020. A gorgeous blonde, Jane is only 21 years of age and seems more than prepared and capable of running for the national pageant. Her ocean blue eyes and gorgeous facial features have already made her extremely popular with her audience that is rooting for her day and night.
No newbie to the world of pageantry, Jane has immense experience under her belt. Former Miss North Carolina Teen USA 2015 and 2nd runner-up at Miss Teen USA 2015, this stunning diva is all set to nail Miss USA 2020. A big travel buff, Jane has explored many cities like London, Venice, Vienna, Rome and many more. We are extremely proud of her for her achievements and hope that she aces her performance at the national round and emerges as the gorgeous new queen.
Miss USA 2020 will be the 69th Miss USA pageant. The competition will be held during the spring of 2020 and many gorgeous ladies will be participating in the competition from different parts of the world. Last year, Cheslie Kryst of North Carolina won the national round of the same and she will now crown her successor at the end of the event. The winner will go on to represent the United States at the Miss Universe 2020 competition.
The competition will mark the first year that a new crown will be made by luxury jeweller Mouawad, effectively retiring the Mikimoto Crown. 51 contestants from the 50 states and the District of Columbia will compete for the national crown. With regional crowning underway, twenty delegates have already been selected to compete at Miss USA 2020.
