Due to the ongoing scare of Covid-19 all over the world, Miss Universe Organization has allowed all the national organizations to appoint last year’s runner-up as this year’s representatives to Miss Universe 2020. After Panama followed in these footsteps, the countries are expected to take the same decisions.
If Peru follows in the footsteps, then Janick Maceta Del Castillo who was the first finalist at Miss Peru 2019 will be elected to represent Peru at Miss Universe 2020. Janick went onto represent Peru at Miss Supranational 2019 where she was placed as the 3rd runner-up by the end of the event finale.
Janick Maceta hails from the city of Lima; is 25-years-old and stands 176cm tall. She also represented Peru at Miss Tourism World 2018 which was held in Malaysia. She is fluent in English, currently living in New York, a city where she has undertaken ambitious projects. She has grown in an environment which was inspired by music culture and in New York, the diva has turned her passion into a career choice.
Janick has an enviable gateway handling; every time she walks, she shows off her elegant catwalk. Janick’s beautiful coloured eyes can surely make any heart melt. She has a gorgeous figure and a charming personality, making her an exceptionally well-loved pageant queen all over the world. She has made a name for herself in the world of pageantry and feels very lucky to be a part of a world that has given her so much confidence and strength to grow as a person.
Janick has been modelling and walking on-stage for a while now which has given her a chance to earn some experience along with tips and techniques to perform better at the future pageants. She strongly believes that one should not be afraid to give in their efforts in order to achieve the goals and dreams. The diva has been grateful to represent Peru at Miss Supranational 2019 where she was adjudged as the 3rd runner-up and would love to represent the country at Miss Universe 2020 pageant. She likes to spend her free time at her studio or working out because music soothes and calms her and working out helps her in reliving the stress.

If Miss Peru Organization selects Janick Maceta for representing Peru at Miss Universe 2020, she can be one of the strongest contenders at the competition.
