Kim Layne of Idaho is emerging as the potential winner among all the other talented delegates. Kim hails from the city of Nampa and will represent her province Idaho in Miss USA 2020.
Kim completed her graduation from Cornell University and majored in research. She is currently pursuing a degree in Veterinary from Washington State University’s College of Veterinary Medicine. She previously participated in Miss Idaho Teen USA 2012 and Miss Idaho USA 2020. With her excellence and eloquence, she won the crowns in both the beauty pageants. She is now ready to boast her skills at the stage of Miss USA 2020 thereby flaunting in Miss Universe 2020.
Being a veterinary doctor, she loves animals and has a special space for them in her heart. Kim loves dogs and often posts pictures with her pet dogs on her social media account.
She wants to use the Miss USA platform to spread awareness about stigmas and attitudes associated with neurological conditions. She earlier suffered from narcolepsy, a sleep disorder, and that is why she wants the public to understand the symptoms of neurological diseases like depression, anxiety, and insomnia.
After her graduation, Layne wants to implement her veterinary skills for the welfare of animals. She believes that a veterinarian could be a lot of different things and is proving this versatility herself. She also wants to make a career in public health to address health issues for humans and animals. Research being another zone of interest, Kim is yet to determine her exact career option. She aims to keep diseases out of the country along with guarding the livelihood of the farmers.
