Miss Universe Vietnam organization took to their official social media to reveal the national costume that Ngoc Chau will be presenting at the national costume competition of Miss Universe 2022 which will be held next month in New Orleans, USA.

The press conference was held today, i.e. 20th December 2022 at 2 PM local time where Ngoc Chau showcased the costume and wowed everyone.

Inspired by the beauty of culture and people in the mat weaving village, "Chi?u Cà Mau” carries the story of children, peaceful, simple people in the southernmost part of the country. The new scented mats have reflected the colors of luck and happiness, bringing hope to light up ambitions for a bright future.

The simple, idyllic mat has yet been attached to so many people, through many generations and still exists until today. And now, from a traditional handicraft village of Vietnam, "Chieu Cà Mau" has been transformed into a masterpiece of national costume representing Vietnam at the Miss Universe arena.

Chi?u Cà Mau is made by designer Nguyen Quoc Viet and will officially accompany Ngoc Chau to the Miss Universe arena. Miss Universe 2022 will be held on 14th January New Orleans, USA where Miss Universe 2021 Harnaaz Sandhu will crown her successor at the end of the event finale.
