Miss World Canada organization held the finale of the 2021 edition of the national pageant in early October this year at Richmond Hill Centre for the Performing Arts, Canada where Jessica Victoria Cianchino was crowned as Miss Earth 2022 and became the official representative of Canada at Miss Earth 2022. She succeeded Miss Earth Canada 2021 Alice Li for the title.

Jessica Victoria Cianchino, who hails from the beautiful city of Markham, currently works as an executive director for ‘YPAM’, a non-profit organisation that works diligently to serve children and their families by offering cutting-edge and innovative programmes that promote global skills in the twenty-first century.

Jessica is not new to the world of pageantry, previously she was the second runner up at Miss Asia Pacific International 2019 (MAPI), the fourth edition of beauty pageant.

“Miss Earth Canada 2022! I am truly blessed to have the opportunity to represent Canada on another international stage at Miss Earth 2022. As one of the most prestigious pageants in the world, I hope to make my country and the city of Markham proud. I am so grateful to have been brought up in one of the greatest cities in Canada.

Thank you to Pageant Group Canada for an unforgettable week. I really appreciate the hard work and kindness from everyone that is a part the organization. Thank you for seeing something special in me. Big shoutout to all the beautiful and intelligent women, I now call my sisters! And of course congratulations to my fellow Canadian queens of 2022, I know you will make our country proud,” the diva shared the news on her social media after winning the title.

“I am forever grateful to my mom, my nanay, Ninang Bell, grandma and the rest of my family. You all are truly my strongest motivating force. I hope I made my angels in heaven proud. I know you were looking down on me, giving me strength. I want to show my appreciation to everyone who has been in my corner, cheering me on, no matter what. My nanay always tells me, a person who doesn’t know how to look back from where they came from, won’t reach their destination. A big part of this win was due to the support and love from my community. I love you all so much.

I am only an instrument to let God’s light shine through me. Whatever happens next is already in His plan. Can’t wait to see what the futures holds in store for the rest of my journey,” Jessica added.

Congratulations!
