The Miss Earth Indonesia organization is all set to host the coronation ceremony of the 2021 edition of the annual national pageant, Putri Bhumi Indonesia 2021 on 29th December 2021. At the end of the event, Miss Earth Indonesia 2020 Monica Fransisca Khonado will crown her successor as the new queen, who will then head on to represent Indonesia at the Miss Earth 2022 pageant.

The organization has recently introduced the official delegates competing for the title, as this year’s batch consists of strong and stunning eco angels who will compete against each other for the national title. Earlier this year, at the Miss Earth 2021 pageant Monica Francisca Khonado represented the country virtually and made it among the Top 20 semi-finalists. Her performance for highly appreciated as she became the first ever Indonesian and Minahasan to be placed as a finalist in Miss Earth history, ending a 16-year drought for Indonesia since joining Miss Earth in 2005.
